Please follow the steps below to update DVR firmware:

1. Download the file
ECO Series:
“upd_084s.rar” for L08FF ECO Series or
“upd_88ts.rar” for L08D4 ECO Series
Standard Series:
"Standard_G1_FW__upd_084s.rar" for 1st Generation D08FF Series or
"Standard_G2_FW_HDMI__L80-G2_843b.rar" for 2nd Generation D08FF Series with HDMI
PRO Series:
"upd_600g2s.rar" for D6BFF PRO Series

2. Extract the file to a folder with the name “upd_084s” or "upd_88ts" or "upd_600g2s"

3. You should have 4 files in the folder (this is a sample, version will be different for new firmware)
“t88ef-0078049b0682782b.tgz, t88ef-0078049b0682782b.tgz.md5, dvr_logo.yuv, and logo_def.txt”

4. Copy this folder into a USB memory drive, and make sure it is on the root directory of the drive.

5. Connect the USB memory drive into the front of the DVR.

6. Press the menu button on the DVR (may require password to log in), select system setup, system /
version info and select firmware upgrade via local device.

7. Select the new firmware file for upgrade.

8. Please don’t turn off the unit while it is upgrading, system will reboot after the upgrade is done.
